From the mill to the city

  • In 2013 the mill opened 2 sports grounds for workout training in the downtown and at Glodianskaya Street.
  • In 2013 for the first time ever the Palace of Culture of Metallurgists was used as a stage for a musical performance for city residents, where all roles were played by the enterprise employees.
  • Every year the mill renders patronage assistance to a number of municipal educational institutions.
  • The Palace of Culture of Metallurgists hosts “Samara Autumn” Dance Festival and theatrical performances for city residents.
  • Physical training and fitness complex is also open for all city residents.
  • In 2013 the mill hosted the open City Swimming Championship for school students. The list of the competition participants included 90 students, who attended swimming lessons at the mill’s pool.
  • In spring 2013 the sports hall of INTERPIPE NMPP Physical training and fitness complex hosted Kyokushin Karate competition, which included approximately 120 participants from many cities of Ukraine.
  • In 2013 the mill opened and commissioned 5 children’s playgrounds.
  • Every year, before the International Day for Protection of Children and Saint Nicholas Day, approximately 100 children, who are in the register of the local T.B. clinic, get presents from INTERPIPE NMPP.
  • The mill hosts the Veterans’ Club – the cultural and social center of the Veterans’ Council.
  • The mill hosts the consumer service center for veterans.
  • The Company has arranged a good tradition of awarding personalized mill’s scholarships (from USSR Heroes) to the best students of schools under the mill’s patronage – No 4, 12, 17, and 16.
  • Participants of the military actions also get additional attention from the mill’s Board on May 9 and the City Liberation Day.
